Ría Celestún Yucatán Side A and B
Analysis of Mexico’s Travel Destinations by Franco Magno
Hi! everybody, my Magno followers. Once again, Franco Magno brings you 25 years of traveling insider experience in Mexico.
Ría Celestún (Celestún Estuary) Yucatán state.
Flamingos, pink-colored horizon, a majestic flight that reveals the sweet presence, nature’s living masterwork bird who delightfully enchants everybody. A waterhole. Lush nature.
Friendly locals. Smooth sand beaches. Fantastic Experience. It’s located in northwestern Yucatán, bordering to the Gulf of Mexico.
However, if you want to visit the Yucatán state, my partners of jetradar.com can offer you the best airfares here; or if you’d like to get another opinion, my partners of chepoair.com have great rates here. Thank you very much for supporting me.
Here are Magno’s sides A and B for Celestún Yucatán.
The site by itself. A magnific mosaic and a mixture of natural elements. The main inlet, mangroves, deep jungle, a water hole, pink flamingos, coastal dunes, those elements will allow you to live magical and unique moments that arise, and invade your mind and soul.
There are guided tours through the estuary led by local fishermen who depart from the site’s tourist reception. They visit the four main attractions: The nesting places for pink flamingos, the bird’s island, the waterhole with a natural water spring, and the mangrove tunnel.
The musts you have to carry? Biodegradable sun protection lotion, the right handbag (if you purchase a local bag, much better, you can find them in materials like palm fibers).
A good camera, and your mind fresh and open to perceive one of the most exceptional experiences in your whole life.
Celestún is great, isn’t it? Let me suggest you rent a car to reach Celestún. Why? Because it’s very convenient and taking advantage of the affordable rates that my partners of Discover Cars offer you here or Economy Bookings that you can get here, getting to Celestún will be trouble-free. Thank you very much for supporting me.
Are you traveling alone? It’s perfectly possible. I’ve made most of my trips alone. Mastering solo traveling. Hope to see and meet you there or everywhere one day.
Traveling with family or friends? Fantastic. I state this because if you intend to fill your hungry eyes with this magnificent heaven on earth, be prepared to come with or gather five or six tourists at the visitors’ reception.
The reason? There’s a standard price to start the trip with the local fishermen of about 15 USD dollars or 1,200 MXN pesos. So, the more people in the boat beginning the journey, the lesser the amount.
Do you want to make the trip alone or with your loved one? You’ll have to pay the round trip for all the passengers’ boat capacitance.
There are no adjustments in price if fewer people go in the boat. It’s the same price for one person or six people.
But don’t worry, the times I’ve been there, I’ve seen people waiting there for some others, and finally, they end by grouping up for the trip.
The Magno Recommendation:
Paying a visit to the inlet is a perfect starter in the morning, and don’t forget to visit Celestún’s little village and the beaches close around too, which they are just about heavenly beautiful.
Now, what is the result of combining fantastic accommodation options at very affordable prices and awesome tours? Hostelworld and Musement.
Not enough people coming with you? No problem at all, just wait about 15 to 25 minutes and you’ll see other passengers coming in.
Just be sure to stand around the ticket office and ask in Spanish:
Van a viajar en la lancha? or Van a tomar el paseo? or Podríamos juntarnos para tomar el paseo? That’s it.
