Three Strategies to Avoid Confusion When Starting a Trip in Mexico

Three Strategies to Avoid Confusion When Starting a Trip in Mexico

Tips for Certainty in Unknown Destinations

I still remember it, my Magno followers, those years in the nineties’ decade, when I made my first journeys with my journalism and communication college bachelor classmates.

Right there, immersed in the atmosphere of the several destinations we visited, I thought, well, when I come back here, where do I start from?

At the beach? In the city? At the archaeological ruins? At the restaurants? At the public squares? I needed some clarity.

Like a Déjà vu, once again, the same thing happened to me when I started making my first blogger solo trips.

I experienced such confusion, especially in the new and unexplored places. Some of those destinations were full of remarkable points of interest and attractions that enchant travelers’ senses.

After twenty-five years of traveling experience, I’ve already resolved that problem you may be asking yourself now: Where do you start your Mexico‘s journeys from?

However, if you want to visit Mexico, my partners of jetradar.com can offer you the best airfares here; or if you’d like to get another opinion, my partners of chepoair.com have great rates here. Thank you very much for supporting me.

Strategy No. 1
Start by the Historic Centers

In many Mexican cities, whether they be large, medium or small towns or villages, the historic centers were the starting points where society, culture, and daily chores converged.

Epicenters where the social customs’ winds and traditions came together to give way to urban areas that were enriched over time.

Places where all those human expressions mixed with Mexico’s history episodes elapsing.

These happenings shaped everyday life. Additionally, social customs that came from outside the country by the hand of travelers and immigrants who put their feet into these lands collaborated to create Mexico’s contemporary essence.

Starting a travel strategy through Mexico’s historic centers isn’t erring a travel plan. It’s not a mistake at the beginning of your journeys. It’s not a waste of time at all.

Should someone has a different opinion, perhaps they haven’t visited Guanajuato city, Zacatecas city, Durango city, Mexico City, Puebla city, Oaxaca city,  and Mérida majestic historic centers, among some others.

Starting to walk through the historic centers’ marvelous streets of Guadalajara, or perhaps those of Querétaro or maybe San Miguel de Allende’s ones, is a supreme traveling experience.

Mexico is great, isn’t it? Let me suggest you rent a car to drive in Mexico. Why? Because it’s very convenient and taking advantage of the affordable rates that my partners of Discover Cars offer you here or Economy Bookings that you can get here, driving in Mexico will be trouble-free. Thank you very much for supporting me.

Without any doubt, it’s a sure play for this Magno Mexico traveling insight recommendation.

Culture, tradition, and history have combined in such a way to create sensory wines that you can drink with your eyes.

Those wines don’t intoxicate the senses. They rather refresh your visits with wonderful experiences, with unique and exquisite moments that remain engraved in Mexico explorers’ wooden souls.

Strategy No. 2
Start by the Beach Destinations

No need to argue about it, my Magno friends. Whenever I travel to the exquisite world-class Mexican beach destinations such as the Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Veracruz, and Bahías de Huatulco, among many others, it’s like a self-discovering.

Amazing beach destinations like Campeche, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Ensenada, and Puerto Peñasco exert that magic in all of my senses too.

It’s definitely a safe decision. A strategic move to take Mexico by its incredible and beautiful vacation spirit.

Mexico is an amazing and exquisite menu of delicious, paradisiacal beaches with approximately 430,000 square kilometers (166,023 square miles) of coastline land.

At some of these beach destinations, you can find unique and isolated places to fascinate yourselves. Mexico’s beach destinations will be the perfect point to start a journey in Mexico for sure.

Whether you start on beaches looking out to Mexico’s Pacific Ocean, or those blessed by the “Mar de Cortés” (Sea of Cortez), Mexico’s litorals are packed with astonishing experiences.

You can also try those sun-bathed destinations next to the Gulf of Mexico or the heavenly Mexican Caribbean. Starting by Mexican beach destinations will bring certainty to your traveling schedules.

Once you are there, you can even mix your journey with the historic centers. Why not? Beach destinations and historic centers make great cocktails. Don’t you believe me?

How about Puerto Vallarta’s historic center? Or maybe Mazatlán’s exquisite one? Acapulco’s magical one doesn’t deserve a visit? Don’t tell me the one in the “Puerto de Veracruz” doesn’t catch visitors’ attention.

And what about San José’s del Cabo one? Are you missing Tampico’s historic center? Is that your case? I’m sorry. That’s too bad. Are you missing Campeche’s walled one? Satisfaction is guaranteed, or you get your bitterness back.

As you may have seen, my Magno followers, I’ve already begun to throw lights on a memorable travel plan in case you didn’t bring one prepared from your places of origin.

Strategy No. 3

Start by the Colonial Cities

I do understand some travelers’ decisions. I’ve seen this before. Some people aren’t too keen to start their journeys close to the sea. They just refuse to place their feet on the beach’s wet sand.

It’s the hot weather. It’s the choppy sea or rogue waves. It’s the naked and impudent folk hordes parading on the beaches. I understand them. Beaches, sun, and sand aren’t ideal for certain travelers.

There’s no problem. Mexico has a side B. It has more fragrant bouquets options to walk its roads.

This strategy goes a little bit hand by hand with the first one I mentioned. Who among you would resist starting a trip through Mexico in the fantastic and wonderful San Miguel de Allende? Or maybe in San Luis Potosí’s capital city?

From the colorful and amazing Puebla to the peaceful Tlaxcala capital city or Pachuca’s windy city with its green-quarried historical buildings, colonial cities also raise their hands to catch travelers’ finest choices.

Needless to say it. Guanajuato capital city, visual poetry, an exquisite open-air museum that can only enjoy refined journeyers. Aguascalientes or Zacatecas capital cities are also colonial gifts. What about the fantastic and amazing Morelia capital city?

Will Zamora Michoacán be left behind? How about starting in Querétaro’s fabulous capital city? Over there, history, culture, and tradition had a solemn session.

Oaxaca, Durango, or Saltillo capital cities don’t deserve a consideration? Options and more options exist in Mexico to top your travel plans.

How about combining all those three strategies at the same time?

Believe me, as a travel blogger dedicated to Mexico, I’ve done it a couple of times, and it was an haute-cuisine experience that took me weeks to digest it.

All those weeks in which I just lived fascinated and waiting for the next time to repeat it.

Will you put these strategies into practice, my Magno followers?
